It’s the announcement everyone’s been waiting for – just which of our lovely finalist couples has won our Ruby Anniversary Wedding Reception competition following hundreds of entries!
We are thrilled to announce that local couple Steven Thompson and Shirley Ann Ebbitt are the
well-deserved winners of the prize of a lifetime, their wedding reception for 100 guests in the stunning Drumragh Suite. The perfectly matched couple impressed the judging panel at each stage of the competition. From their initial online entry featuring a Silverbirch inspired acronym, to their large online vote tally and personalised ‘Farmer Wants A Wife’ inspired video to their extensive preparation to meet our Judging panel featuring representatives from North West Brides Magazine and TeamBride.ie which included wedding mood boards and detailed research on the hotel.
Steven and Shirley Ann will enjoy a dream start to their wedding plans by being crowned winners of competition to celebrate 40 years of Duncan and Griffin family ownership at the landmark Omagh hotel. The amazing competition prize, worth in excess of £5,000– includes a wedding reception for 100 guests enjoying Silverbirch Hotel’s Classic Wedding Package in the stunning Drumragh Suite. Recognised as the most glamourous Ballroom in the North West following a recent £4million rebuild project, the Drumragh Suites elegant interiors feature a collection of stunning chandeliers, LED lighting, large curved bay window, wrap around terrace area, and adjoining Courtyard Bar.
Since enjoying a drink in Barreta Bar at Silverbirch Hotel following their first date at the local cinema Steven and Shirley Ann’s love story has come full circle as they now begin to make plans to host their wedding reception at the hotel later this year.
